What is Xalto?
Xalto is your company brain: a private memory layer that connects meetings, messages, email and documents, and makes approved knowledge available to your team and the AI tools they use.
Where does our data live?
Your company memory is self-hosted on dedicated hardware in your office. We send two Mac mini computers: one runs Xalto and the second supports encrypted backup and recovery.
Can employees see each other’s private information?
Each employee has a separately encrypted personal memory. Colleagues do not gain access to it simply by working at the same company. Shared knowledge follows explicit permissions; being an administrator does not automatically grant access to private employee content.
Does self-hosted mean no external services?
Your stored company memory stays on your infrastructure. Connected source tools and external AI assistants remain separate services. When you choose an external assistant, the context you authorize it to use may be processed by that provider. We review these data flows with you during setup.
Who controls access?
Your organization controls who can access its knowledge. Employee content is isolated and encrypted; Xalto’s maintenance access is separate from permission to read your content. Sharing and recovery follow your agreed deployment policies.
How much does Xalto cost?
Xalto starts at €1,000 per month for teams of 2–200 people. Hardware, setup, support and your integration requirements are scoped in your proposal. Final pricing depends on your team and deployment.
